Please see below a fantastic \u00a0interactive event for women to learn to feel empowered and motivated.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

The event is Women Together and is being hosted by Great Chart with Singleton Parish Council and Kent Police.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

In attendance from the police will be DI Kirsty Martin who is the force lead for Violence Against Women and Girls, her team and the local Community Liaison Officer Catherine Stevens.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

The Event will be at Singleton Village Hall, Hoxton Close, between 11am and \u00a02pm on Friday 26th April 2024.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Along with speakers from Kent Police\u2019s Violence Against Women and Girls Unit will be<\/i><\/o:p><\/p>\n

Councillor Sally Gathern who is member of the Women\u2019s Institute, a Scout leader and a proud mum and\u00a0<\/i><\/o:p><\/p>\n

Sam Griffin who is a DJ on Ashford Radio and prominent figure in the community. The opening address will be given by Deputy Mayor Lyn Suddards.<\/i><\/o:p><\/p>\n

Included in the programme will be an interactive SELF-DEFENCE CLASS held by a MASTER of TAEKOWNDO (DBS checked), <\/i><\/o:p>ending with a Bollywood dance class.<\/i><\/o:p><\/p>\n

Tickets are\u00a0FREE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0and are available through\u00a0EVENTBRITE<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0or by contacting Parish Clerk Ani Szocs on 01233 616 923<\/i><\/o:p><\/p>\n

Comfortable clothes are recommended due to self- defence and Bollywood dance classes<\/i><\/o:p><\/p>\n
