Please see below a fantastic  interactive event for women to learn to feel empowered and motivated.

The event is Women Together and is being hosted by Great Chart with Singleton Parish Council and Kent Police.

In attendance from the police will be DI Kirsty Martin who is the force lead for Violence Against Women and Girls, her team and the local Community Liaison Officer Catherine Stevens.

The Event will be at Singleton Village Hall, Hoxton Close, between 11am and  2pm on Friday 26th April 2024.

Along with speakers from Kent Police’s Violence Against Women and Girls Unit will be

Councillor Sally Gathern who is member of the Women’s Institute, a Scout leader and a proud mum and 

Sam Griffin who is a DJ on Ashford Radio and prominent figure in the community. The opening address will be given by Deputy Mayor Lyn Suddards.

Included in the programme will be an interactive SELF-DEFENCE CLASS held by a MASTER of TAEKOWNDO (DBS checked), ending with a Bollywood dance class.

Comfortable clothes are recommended due to self- defence and Bollywood dance classes
